拉克希曼殊 讲述 (Swami Lakshmanjoo)

  根据现存的一部梵文手稿,西方学者把其中的瑜伽术出现的时间,推定为四五千年以前。这部梵文手稿就是著名的《中道》,内容是希瓦(Sadshiva)回答妻子戴微有关自我、宇宙、时空等问题的询问时,陈述自己的内观亲证的经验,并叙述打开无形意识之门的112种方式。希瓦的回答简约而深刻。
  
  印度还有这样一种传说,在距今7000年前,希瓦就发明了秘密(Tantra,原意为纺织的纬线,通常译为坦特罗或密续)瑜伽,流传于喜马拉雅山区。
  
禅无古今。远在佛陀尚未诞生以前,就有人在印度习禅了。待到人们忘了禅与佛、彻悟与公案、中国与日本、以及美国与西方等词很久之后,此种功夫不但仍然有人继续下去,而且仍可在太阳之下,花草之间见到禅境。本著就是一个例子。

下引数语系引自此一古代著述之最早英译本的前言:

我在喀什米尔行脚期间,在斯林纳嘉上游的美景中发现了拉克希曼乔的茅庵。庵前俯视一片翠绿的稻田、夏利马与尼霞巴花园,以及四周点缀着荷花的湖泊,而飞泉则由一座悬崖的上面滕跃而下。 拉克希曼殊( Lakshmanjoo ),一位身材魁梧而面色光润的道者,就在这里欢迎我这个云游之人。他与我共赏这历史悠久的经文 --- 它来自 Vigyan Bhairava 与Sochanda Tantra (此二者约成于四千年前) 以及 Malini Vijaya Tantra (可能比前二者更早一千年),辗转抄录,以至与今,而今拉克希曼殊则开始将它译为英文,而我则将其反复改写,前后达十一次之多,始成现在这个样子。

一至一百一十二则


戴薇问云:

啊,希瓦,什么是你底真相?

这充满奇异的宇宙究是什么?

是什么造成种子?

是谁主使这宇宙轮子的中心?

这个超于形象而又充满形象的生命又是什么?

我们要怎样才能全身透入它的里面而超越空间、时间、名相,以及样状?

请为我说,开我迷惘!

希瓦答道: 戴薇已悟,其所以提出上列种种问题,只是为他人以及未来的人请示, 以便亦可得到希望的开导。下面是希瓦的答语,共有入道法门一百一十二个。)

一、光彩四溢的人呀,这个经验可在一呼一吸之间明朗。在吸气完了 (下) 而呼气将毕 (上) 之间 --- 慈善。

二、当气息由下而上,又由上而下之际 --- 在此两转之间,体会。

三、或者,当吸气与呼气交会之时,在此时际触及那无力而实满力的中心。

四、或当气息全出 (上) 而自停,或当气息全入 (下) 而摒住 --- 在此普停之间,小我消失不见。此法不难 --- 除非心地不净。

五、观想你的精气像一道道的光线,沿着脊柱逐轮而上,而你里面的生气亦如此节节上升。

六、或在空隙之间将此体作闪电。

七、戴薇啊,想像梵文字母在这些充满蜂蜜的觉晓中枢,首先想作字母,然后想作较为微妙的声音,再后想作最为微妙的感觉,而后将其抛开,自由自在。

八、注意两眉之间,让心灵先于思想。让形体充满精气,直至头顶,便有阵雨如光。

九、或将孔雀尾羽上的五彩晕轮想作你在无限的太空之中底五种感觉,而后,让它们底美溶化其间。对空中或墙上的任何一点亦然 --- 直到那一点消失不
见。而后,你的另一个愿望便会实现。

一零、闭起眼睛,仔细观照你底内在生命。如此可以见到你的真性。

一一、把你的整个注意力完全集中于脊柱中央的那条细如藕丝的神经气脉之间。如此可得转变。

一二、以两手塞住你头上的七孔,两眼当中的那道空间便无所不容。

一三、像羽毛一般轻轻触摸眼球,两眼之间的光明便透入心中,而那儿便可容纳大千。

一四、沐浴于音响中心,一似沐浴于瀑布底连续声音之间,或以手指塞住耳孔,而后听那泉声之音。

一五、缓缓念诵一种声音,如 a-u-m 。如音进入圆满之声,你的感觉亦然。

一六、在任何一个字母发音的开端以及逐渐细微的当中清醒。

一七、在聆赏各种弦乐的当中谛听它们组成的中心声音。如此你便无所不在或遍于一切。

一八、念出一种声音,清晰可闻,而后愈来愈听不见,而感觉亦跟着深入这种无声的和声,

一九、观想灵性同时在你的里面和周围,直到整个宇宙完全灵化。

二零、和善的戴薇啊,进入那高高遍布在你底形体之上,且低低遍布在你底形体之下的灵气的存在中吧。

二一、把心物置于那不可诉说的微妙之中以及你底心中吧,

二二、把你形体底每一部位都观想成为无限广阔吧。

二三、感觉你的实体、骨头、肌肉,以及血液都充满宇宙的精华。

二四、假想你底消极形体为一有着皮墙的空屋 --- 空。

二五、有福的人啊,要像五识专注于心一样直入莲花的心中。

二六、无心之心,保持在中心 --- 直到。

二七、在从事世间的工作时不息凝注于两息之间,如此练习,不数日即可新生。(拉克希曼乔说这是他所做的修持方法之一)

二八、凝住于火,从你脚趾上升,直到你的形体化为灰烬,而你没有。

二九、观想这虚幻的人世已焚为灰烬,而后超于人类之上。

三零、感觉微妙的创造性质充满你的胸怀,而后化作微妙的形态。

三一、大脑中枢有不可捉摸的气息,当其在睡眠的时刻抵达心灵之际,支配梦境以及死亡本身。

三二、当字母主观地化为文字,文字化为文句,而圆圈客观地化为世界、世界化为原理之时,最后终于发现这些集中在我们的心中。

三三、慈悲的人啊,假想宇宙是个空壳,你的心灵正在它里头做永无穷尽的游戏。

三四、注视一钵而不见其边缘或材料,如此不久即可知晓了。

三五、住 (心) 于某个无限广阔的处所,没有树木,没有山河,没有房屋,不久,心灵的压力即可解除。

三六、甜心的人啊,思维知与不知,有与没有,而后离开你可能执着的两边。

三七、亲切地注视某个东西,不要观看别的东西。这儿,幸福就在这个东西的当中。

三八、感觉宇宙如透明永生的显现或存在。

三九、以极度的虔诚专注于出入息的交点并认知所知者。

四零、想弥满的空间即是你自己的福体或极乐之身。

四一、甜美的公主啊,你要在你被爱抚的当儿像永恒的生命进入那爱抚之中。

四二、在感觉蚂蚁爬行的当儿关闭感官之门。正这么时。

四三、在交媾开始之际,首先凝注性火的发端,而后继续观照,最后不留余烬。

四四、当你底感觉在如此拥抱像树叶一般震颤时,那么进入此种震颤之中。

四五、甚至在回忆结合而无拥抱时转变。

四六、在愉快地观看一位久违的朋友之际,渗入这种愉快之中。

四七、在吃喝之际化为饮食的滋味,且被充满。

四八、啊,莲眼儿的人呀,妙触的甜蜜,在歌唱、观看、尝味时晓了你的现前,发现那永生不灭的东西。

四九、不论在何处以何种方式获得满足之时,体会此种满足之境。

五零、在睡而未眠而醒已在消失的当儿,真体显现。(拉克希曼乔说此系他所喜习的另一法门)

五一、在夏日,当你见到整个天空一片澄明之时,进入此种澄明之中。

五二、躺下如死一般。怒气填膺,且继续如此。或定睛瞪视,或吸吮某种东西且变
成那种吸吮。

五三、不以手足支持,只以臀部坐着。突然间,“中”。

五四、处于一种安逸姿势,逐渐将两腋之间扩展而成一大清静。

五五、如有生以来第一次观看一位漂亮的人物或一个普通的东西。

五六、使口微张,将心置于舌的中央。或在气息悄悄进入时感觉那 HH 之声。

五七、躺在床上或坐于凳子时,让你自己变得没有重量,超于心识之外。

五八、在前进的车辆中从规律的摇摆中体验。或在静止的车辆中让你自己摇摆 --- 以悠缓而不可目睹的圆圈。

五九、观看那超于云层的蓝天,一片虚明。

六零、夏克蒂,看那整个的苍穹犹如已集中在你自心的光明之中。

六一、醒时、睡时、梦时,知你如光。

六二、在黑夜雨时,进入那作为众形之形的黑。

六三、如果没有无月的雨夜可得,则闭起两眼看你面前的那一片黑。张开两眼,看那片黑。如此则缺陷从此消失。

六四、在你正有冲动去做某件事情时,止之。

六五、将你的精神集中于没有 a 或 m 音的 a-u-m 音之上。

六六、默读一个以 AH 为字尾的单字。而后默读一个以 HH 为字尾的单字,则自动自发的“自然”便在其中。

六七、感觉你自己弥满远近十方。

六八、你的形体充满甘露,用针刺穿某一部分,而后缓缓进入那刺穿之中。

六九、感知:我的念头 --- 主体的我;内部器官 --- 客体的我。

七零、妄想不可靠。色彩划界限。纵使可分者亦不可分。

七一、欲望来时,思之。而后猝然弃之。

七二、在欲望未起与未知之前,我怎能说我的现状?思之。消溶于此美中。

七三、在欲望发起、知识发机之初,以你整个的意识知之。

七四、哦,夏克蒂,每一种知觉都很有限,都消失于全能之中。

七五、实在说来,形色不可分割。不可分者乃无在不在的存在和你自己的形体。此二者皆为心识所造,体验之。

七六、心在极度欲望中不为所动。

七七、这个所谓的世界,其显化如变戏法,如开画展。观其如此而心无忧戚。

七八、亲爱的人啊,勿留心于乐,勿注意于苦,但取乎其中。

七九、扬弃形体的执着,体会我无所不在。无所不在者真乐。

八零、物与欲在我心中如在他人心中。如此信受,随其转化。

八一、对于主与客的领会,悟与未悟无二,唯悟者有一大特别之处:保持主观的心态而不迷失于物。

八二、把每一个人的意识作为你自己的意识加以体会,如此则放开自我的关注而成为每一个人。

八三、一物不思,可使有限的自我无限。

八四、相信无所不知,无所不能,无所不在。

八五、波与水同在,焰与火同在;同样的,宇宙之波焰与我们同在。

八六、随处奔跑,直至疲竭而仆倒于地。而后全身透入此一仆倒之中。

八七、想像你逐渐丧失气力或知识。在此丧失的顷刻超而越之。

八八、在这无上的密教传出之顷谛听:两眼不动不瞬。当下即得绝对自在。

八九、掩住耳朵,收紧肛门,即入无声之声。

九零、在深井之边凝视它底深处,直到 --- 妙不可言。

九一、当你的心四下奔驰之时,不论向内向外,这,就在此处 (此即是) 。

九二、经由某种感官而得鲜明的觉醒时,保持在这觉醒中。

九三、在喷嚏之初、吃惊之际、焦躁之间、断崖之上、溃逃之时、极度好奇之顷、饥饿之前后,保持觉晓而不为所扰。

九四、让你底注意力集中于你在注视某件往事所处的一个地点之中,如此,即使是你那已失却现前特性的形体亦可因而转化。

九五、注视某件物体,而后将看它的视线徐徐收回,而后将想它的念头收回,正这么时。

九六、诚敬可得自在。

九七、触摸你眼前的一件东西。感知所有其他的一切东西皆不在你的面前 --- 除了这一件。而后,丢开那东西的感觉和不在的感觉,予以体会。

九八、他教的清净对我们如同不净。实在说来,无论净不净,均皆不知。

九九、此心为每一众生而存在,除此之外别无存在。

一零零、对友人如对生人,不论荣辱,皆以不同之同待之。

一零一、当你对某人生起反感或对某人产生好感时,切勿将此情加诸其人之身,而只能保持中庸之道。

一零二、假设你观想某种超于知觉、超于理解、超于不在的东西 --- 你。

一零三、进入太空之中,无所依倚,永恒,寂静。

一零四、不论你的注意力落在何处,当下体会。

一零五、进入你底名字的音声之中,并由此声而入众声。

一零六、我存在着。这是我底。这个即是这个。亲爱的人啊,即使如此,亦知无限。

一零七、此心是每一个人底指导精神。成为这个精神吧。

一零八、这是变的领域,一变再变,由变消变。

一零九、如母鸡孵育小鸡一般培养特殊的知识、特殊的行为,实实在在地。

一一零、实在说来,束缚与解脱皆属相对之事,此等词语只适用于畏惧宇宙人生的人。这个宇宙只是人心的一种映像。正如你见水中的许多太阳均皆出自一个太阳一样,束缚与解脱亦然。

一一一、每件东西皆由认知而知。自我亦由认知而在空中发光。感知一个众生为知者或被知者。

一一二、亲爱的人啊,就在这个时刻让心灵、知觉、气息、形体,溶而为一吧。

[Devi, though already enlightened, has asked the foregoing questions
so others through the universe might receive Shiva's instructions.
Now follows Shiva's reply, giving the 112 ways.] </DIV><DIV> </DIV><DIV>1. Radiant one, this experience may dawn between two breaths. After breath comes in (down) and just before turning up (out) - the
beneficence. </DIV><DIV>2. As breath turns from down to up, and again as breath curves from up to down - through both these turns, realize. </DIV><DIV>3. Or, whenever inbreath and outbreath fuse, at this instant touch the energyless energy-filled center. </DIV><DIV>4. Or, when breath is all out (up) and stopped of itself, or all in down) and stopped - in such universal pause, one's small self
vanishes. This is difficult only for the impure. </DIV><DIV>5. Consider your essence as light rays rising from center to center up the vertebrae, and so rises livingness in you. </DIV><DIV>6. Or in the spaces between, feel this as lightning. </DIV><DIV>7. Devi, imagine the Sanskrit letters in these honey-filled foci of awareness, first as letters, then more subtly as sounds, then as
most subtle feeling. Then, leaving them aside, be free. </DIV><DIV>8. Attention between eyebrows, let mind be before thought. Let form fill with breath-essence to the top of the head, and there
shower as light. </DIV><DIV>9. Or, imagine the five-colored circles of the peacock to be your five senses in illimitable space. Now let their beauty melt
within. Similarly, at any point in space or on a wall - until the point dissolves. Then your wish for another comes true. </DIV><DIV>10. Eyes closed, see your inner being in detail Thus see your true nature. </DIV><DIV>11. Place your whole attention in the nerve, delicate as the lotus thread, in the center of your spinal column. In such be
transformed. </DIV><DIV>12. Closing the seven openings of the head with your hands, a space between your eyes becomes all-inclusive. </DIV><DIV>13. Touching eyeballs as a feather, lightness between them opens into heart and there permeates the cosmos. </DIV><DIV>14. Bathe in the center of sound, as in the continuous sound of a waterfall. Or, by putting fingers in ears, hear the sound of
sounds. </DIV><DIV>15. Intone a sound, as a-u-m, slowly. As sound enters soundfulness, so do you. </DIV><DIV>16. In the beginning and gradual refinement of the sound of any letter, awake. </DIV><DIV>17. While listening to stringed instruments, hear their composite central sound; thus omnipresence. </DIV><DIV>18. Intone a sound audibly, then less and less audibly as feeling deepens into this silent harmony. </DIV><DIV>19. Imagine spirit simultaneously within and around you until the entire universe spiritualizes. </DIV><DIV>20. Kind Devi, enter etheric presence pervading far above and below your form. </DIV><DIV>21. Put mindstuff in such inexpressible fineness above, below, and in your heart. </DIV><DIV>22. Consider any area of your present form as limitlessly spacious. </DIV><DIV>23. Feel your substance, bones, flesh, blood, saturated with cosmic essence. </DIV><DIV>24. Suppose your passive form to be an empty room with walls of skin - empty. </DIV><DIV>25. Blessed one, as senses are absorbed in heart, reach the center of the lotus. </DIV><DIV>26. Unminding mind, keep in the middle - until. </DIV><DIV>27. When in worldly activity, keep attentive between the two breaths, and so practicing, in a few days be born anew. [Lakshmanjoo says

Meditate on the make-believe world as burning to ashes, and become being above human. </DIV><DIV>30. Feel the fine qualities of creativity permeating your breasts and assuming delicate configurations. </DIV><DIV>31. With intangible breath in center of forehead, as this reaches heart at the moment of sleep, have direction over dreams and
over death itself. </DIV><DIV>32. As, subjectively, letters flow into words and words into senten- ces, and as, objectively, circles flow into worlds and worlds
into principles, find at last these converging in our being. </DIV><DIV>33. Gracious one, play the universe is an empty shell wherein your mind frolics infinitely. </DIV><DIV>34.
